Introduction
Smt. Jamuna Mishra Academy (JMA) established in the year 2004 which has been making rapid strides in early childhood education is presently one of the most sought after schools at Pilani Rajasthan. Pilani is well known for the host of educational institutions as well as CSIR Laboratory CEERI as well as upcoming assembly centre for the prestigious Brahmos missiles project.
JMA Pilani is a Co-educational English Medium School with Experienced Teachers, Spacious Classrooms and Modern Amenities designed to impart Quality Education combined with All Round Personality Development and lay the Best Foundation for the Child’s Future.
JMA which started in 2004 with an enrollment of 60 students for the Nursery, LKG, First Junior and Class I has grown today till Class VII and 7 times the enrollment. While the school admits both boys and girls, the girl student enrollment has been steadily rising every year and is presently nearly 50% of the total strength.
Behind every successful institution, there has always been a dreamer. The dreamer for JMA is Dr Brij Mohan Mishra, NRI (Syracuse, New York) Physician and entrepreneur who wanted to set up an English Medium school at Pilani in memory of his beloved mother Smt Jamnuna Devi.
Dr Mishra and his family members Dr Suman (wife), Dr Gautam (son) and Mrs Mridula Daughter in law) took the JMA project as a Mission with Passion and continue to nurture it at every stage.

Objectives of the Institution

Registration, Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum age for admission for nursery is 3+ as on April 1st. The eligibility of age will be calculated likewise for other classes.
- Registration for First Junior onwards will be done upto 30th March and the registered candidates will under go a test and an an interview as per date to be announced.
- At the time of registration the following certificates are to be submitted (a) Birth certificate from Nagar Palika (b) Transfer certificate from the previous school (if applicable).
Other Facilities
Activities – The curriculum includes a large number activities like recitation, storytelling, free hand drawing, fancy dress competition, cutting & pasting, collage work, dance, music and school band.
Teaching Aids – Teaching aids of various kinds to teach children in a play way method. The special activity room contains teaching aids for different levels of learning. Computer Centre has been established to impart computer education.
